Fashion has a long way to go...

In many different diverse industries disabilities have been accepted, but it seems that the fashion industry has some catching up to do. I researched a number of different models with disabilities but unfortunately there wasn't a lot to choose from. I did come across a Kelly Knox, an advocate for diversity in fashion with the aim to dismiss society's preconception about what it means to be disabled. Her aim is to see 'disabilities normalised in fashion'. 


An interesting video on Youtube for Models of Diversity featuring Kelly Knox had some really inspiring points on this particular topic. Take a look...
